THE PERFECT RESUSCITATION

22/10/20

There is no better example of what LifeLine hopes to achieve than the recent story of Charlie Adams, a well-known figure in the Cayman community. In February 2020 Charlie was playing a game of tennis with friends, when he suffered a sudden cardiac arrest.  He fell to the ground whilst on the court and within moments he had stopped breathing.

While one of the group called 911, another of the other players remembered the AED that had been placed at the club only 9 months earlier by LifeLine and funded by the Julian Black Community Star Trust.  Thanks to effective CPR and an electric shock delivered by the AED, Charlie is alive and well today and a strong supporter of LifeLine, as is his grateful family.
