Create and maintain a national database of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) linked to the Department of Public Safety Communications (911).
Donate AEDs to locations that are most in need.
The LifeLine database is growing weekly and we already have over 100 AEDs registered.
This database of information allows the 911 operators to identify the closest AED to the scene of a cardiac arrest and, hopefully, save more lives. Statistics tell us that currently only 1 in 10 people survive a sudden cardiac arrest outside of a hospital setting.
